Enjoy turning every head in town with that one! That is one incredibly gorgeous truck! A perfect motivater for me, to finish up the '61, so I can get to work on my '68.

Scott: I love it!! It is sooo beautiful, and thats the interior I have been looking for.

Question: Is the center console hand built or do you know what it came out of. Thats exactly what I want to do, except with a cooler modification inside of the console. With (Maws) medical problem she has to drink "Ice" water all the time it helps your breathe.

Previous owner got the console, seats, etc from a place called Wabbits in Cleveland, TX

One of the few things I don't like is the '67 cab seems to lack foot room, maybe that's due in part to the bulkiness of the seats. Don't plan on changing them though, they're too nice and soft grin

Scott, sorry but I forgot to ask, what part of Tx did you buy your truck?

HOLY... OK, that's it. I'm selling off some of the clunkers to purchase one of these!

Beautiful!

I actually looked at a '70 in the Spring. While crawlin' around under it I discovered that the cab mounts and frame horns were tweaked.

No, 67's really don't have any room. When the stock seat is all the way back, there's about 6" between the steering wheel and the seat. Real fun when you're trying to get in and out quick and there isn't any tilt steering. No real problem with footroom though, and I'm 5'11". I'm not a real big fan of the driving position, where you're sitting straight up (I like cars where you can stretch out), but I can't complain about a lack of room. Just wish the clutch throw was a bit shorter.

I think that's why I got such a great deal on it...everybody wants a V8. This V6 is no dog however. It's dualed out and has 3.73 gears with and some tasteful tweaking to the tranny. Really torky at low speeds and maintained 75mph all the way back from TX (Georgetown/Austin area). Lotsa wind resistance at higher speeds and I think that's where I'd enjoy a V8 most.

Is that the standard spare tire mounting position?

That I don't know. PO said he picked up the bracket at a swap meet and I assume it's pretty close to position because it matches the rear fender. Honestly, I don't even know if 67s had a side mount. I've always liked that style though.

He also relocated the fuel tank behind the rear axle, thus the filler hole in rear fender. His main reason for the heavy hitch receiver is to protect the tank.

I believe that the 67 steps were availible as side mount. Fleetsides were usually under the bed.

Great looking truck, I personally am a fan of fleetsides in that year, but this truck looks great.

What colour is this truck?

Everything looks Really nice but that top radiator hose. If it were my truck I would spend some time at the parts store looking for a OE hose that might work better. Or get some stainless tube and bend one then just have a short section of hose at each end. Otherwise very nicely done.
