Zero rust is awesome rust protecting paint and it comes in Aerosol. I've only used the gallon brush on stuff for my frame, and you can hardly see the brush marks. But then again I am a self proclaimed artist.

I painted a VW bug with Rustoleum Hard hat and it look sweet. Several very thin coats on a sanded surface and make sure you shake the can a lot after you cover small areas.

I stripped all the paint down to bare metal, roof, dash, doors, floor etc. Used PPG epoxy primer, then shot catalyzed paint on everything. Masked off firewall pad, front glass was out, so shooting dash was easy. Used a $70 HVLP gun, followed all the instructions and got a decent job.I figured I am going to spend a lot of time in that cab so I took the time to do it 1 time and boy am I glad.As far as the amount of work just painting inside the cab? I would guess about 40 hours.I've seen rattle can jobs but if you take your time, buy good quality materials, there's no comparison.

I forgot 1 thing. Make sure that the paint and the vehicle itself, is close to the same temperature. optimum is 75 degrees. Don't spray a cold vehicle with room temp paint or vice versa. I would prep everything, the start heaters in my "booth", and let them run for about an hour, then remove the heaters and spray away.
