Float level is OK as well as drop. Power piston looks great and is free. Ball checks and needle valve appear good too. Seems like too much fuel is being delivered. Could the fuel pump be the problem / too strong for the needle check valve? Vacuum line stopped up? This is a Rochester B - I know - I know. :-) BW | | |

There is a good pressure regulator out there that is adjustable. 3-3 1/2 lbs would be fine.

The neopreme tip was damaged on one side. Replaced with a used, but good one and all is OK. 60 year old eyeballs failed to "see" the problem. Thanks for the responses - even though the pump was not the problem, it was another possibility and a learning experience. Regards, BW | | |

Sometimes when I start it, after a minute or two, it will start to flood and leak gas out. I found if you just tap the bowl, it will stop flooding and leaking and run fine. I thought maybe the float is sticking, and when you tap it, it will free up. | | |
