My truck is driving fine. (There, I guess if that trick works to legitimize topics from others, it will work for me)

Now, let's really talk trucks.

Who got their trucks before, during or after their Military service and when?

Who got their trucks before, during or after their first love affair, and when?

Who got their trucks before, during or after their first marriage, and when?

Who got their trucks before, during or after they voted in their first election and when (and for whom)?

Who got their trucks before, during or after they joined a polical party, and when (and which party - and why)?

And, these are all truck-related topics, aren't they? As another Stove Bolter posted, "Not sure what military service has to do with the question, but WTH, over!"

I stopped lurking for a while because of the political din - the change in policy is refreshing but people seem to be gently pushing the envelope.

Please excuse my side-stepping the rules of the forum. In the future I will try to remember:

"this forum is only for the discussion of topics directly related to the care, restoration and use of antique GM trucks"

Hey, that's why I came here in the first place, that's why I came back, and that's why I'll stick around. Thanks, John and Peggy and others for a great website.

You are a nut.

however I will respond to the 1st 3.
1. Before my military service. None yet.
2. After my first love.
3. Before my first and only marriage.

Perhaps this was a rhetorical post?

Don't you know who I think I am?
I've been thinkin' about freaking out. If I could just find the time.

I'm a late bloomer, got my old truck after everything else in life. Enjoyed the old trucks from the time I was a little boy watching my Grandpa start his farm truck with that funny big button on the floor. First old truck at age 43 and have a lot of years (and trucks) to go....
