Good, good morning!

Well, this is just great. Thanks to some positive feedback from our site, Chevy Duty is offering our Stovebolters at 10% discount on orders placed over the phone from now until the end of the month.

Be sure to give the customer service reps this source code: TSP (for The Stovebolt Page -- that'll make it easy to remember) when you place your phoned-in order. (Their computers are not set up to apply this special discount on online orders.)

There are a very small number of items that they cannot discount ... Mustang II suspensions kits, Master pack A/C kits, etc. But with over 11,000 part #'s in their warehouse, there are less than 30 items that won't be discounted.

This will be good to the end of the month. But they may have some other offers for us from time to time. So ... we'll see how this goes!

A big thank you to those folks at Chevy Duty for giving the Bolters a break here! 'Preciate it, muchly.

They'd like to see how this goes (I guess the *advertising* part of all this). I'm sure they have ways to figure out what they lost by discounting the stuff versus what they would have had to pay for advertising someplace.

So ... if it works out good for them, then they'll have some special for us regularly they said.

We'll see how it all goes! I'm hopeful.

Ha, you know at work, John has a TSP which is a "Thrift Savings Plan" (a/k/a "retirement"). I guess this will be easy to remember. The TSP can be YOUR Stovebolt TSP !

hehehe

Peg - my wife would argue that my truck is not anything close to a "savings vehicle", well maybe it saves my mental state.

Thanks again for chasing this to ground. Just wish I needed to order something.

Well, actually, I was thinking more of ... like ...

The Stovebolt Page is your Stovebolt Thrift Savings Plan -- because it actually (sometimes) keeps you from ... well - ha, I was gonna say "going out and working on it" (hahahaha).

How about, it keeps you from making expensive mistakes.

How's that?

Women always ... opps ... SOME women always go shopping as a mental-health activity. So it should count for you all. At least you'll end up with a working (hopefully) classic vehicle some (SOME) day. Women usually end up with nick nacks, or worse yet ... some house project for the Stovebolter.

Not all women / wives -- I know. Perhaps most of the females I know are not fortunate to be married to A Stovebolt Man!

hehehehe

Bummer for me...
I wish they had PRE-47 truck parts. Not all of us drive AD's.

Just last week I ordered $325 worth of parts from Chevy Duty!

Always a day late and a dollar short.

I'm with pakrat47. I just ordered a little over $300 worth on Wednesday this week. I wonder if I can call and cancel my internet order and re-order on the same call.
