Hi everyone.I just got a 46 Chev half ton and it has the ident plate on the right front firewall. Are there any Canadian stovebolters out there who can tell me for sure what model it is or how I can find out. The numbers on John's list don't match so this must be a Canuck vehicle. Model # is 1314, engine CLL4189, trim 392, body 605, and ser # 6131402231, paint is 632. Started taking it apart today, what fun with the old square nuts and bolts. Frontclip and rear end has been changed. Really enjoy the web site.

hi Bob! welcome to the garage! sounds like ya got a CDN Chev, model 1314! the 1300 is the same as the US 3100, meaning ½T, and the 14 part means a pu - the engine# will tell you what size & year if the number on the engine agrees, but don't know the codes, prolly '46 216 - trim, paint & body#s indicate color and options - ser# prolly 6[cyl] [model]1314 [mfg sequence#]02231

glad to hear your havin fun w/ it, and you should be able to get most questions answered here, make sure we get to see some pics grin
