Used to have a login, but have changed email addresses and can't find my old password, started a new one. I am thinking about purchasing another truck, 1953 3800 with dump flatbed to haul my nostalgic boat short distances. No engine, but it has the SM420 (minus the PTO)with it still. Very similar to Fritz's Truck.

Anyone know the RPO for a detroit locker eaton? I found a 1969 3/4 ton with a drop out chunk with coil springs and an SM465, so I think this makes it a 4.10. I looked in the glove box for the ratio, but I couldn't find one, however it had a line stating NO SPIN REAR END or NO SLIP REAR END, I can't remember which. REgardless of the gearing, if its a locker, I want it!

Any help is appreciated. OCK, please jump in here.

Grab it and send it here so I can inspect it grin
That was the only rear-end that came from the factory with a Detroit Locker smile

There is enough good in the worst of us and enough bad in the best of us that it does not behoove any of us to criticize the rest of us.
