As I read all of the comments on the Inliners site, I see now what did happen. All of the messages there are very heart felt and very eloquent. He was a great person and many, many people realized that.

Good bye, Jack!

Pretty darn sad--kinda caps off a bad day for me.

Didn't know him personally except thru posts--I always thought of him as a high quality guy who was extraordinarily knowledgeable about this hobby. A Gentleman. Large loss at Inliners --his GMC truck was never finished--as it should be--I guess--always another improvement. I would have liked to see the 12 port he was bulding--completed. A real loss. frown

Life's short boys---might want to reflect on gettin the most out of it that u can and tryin to accomplish sumthin and help others with what u enjoy--Jack did, in my view.

I am shocked also. Every year I would go with Tony to the Inlinners Meet. It was always tecky stuff so I would just read and hang around. Jack always came up to me and made an appoint to say Hi and asked what was going on in Webster. He stood out in my mind for being the politest, nicest, gentleman. He would drive all the way from Florida and be one of the longest distance drivers, as the meets where in PA. He was so easy going and well liked by everyone.I still can't believe it. frown
