For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 117 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 117 | Now that I've located the "cowl" tag (which, of course, isn't on the cowl at all) I've got trim and paint codes that I need to decipher for my '64 C-10:
TRIM = PPO Z62AA PAINT = 540AD
I've learned that the paint code was for two-tone turquoise and the "other" color was ivory. Where was the ivory paint at on the truck? (The truck is now in various stages of primer, rust, and donor parts, making it difficult at best to tell what it looked like originally.)
Anyone know what the trim code means? I did a lot of Googling and couldn't come up with anything even remotely close to useful. Sorry if this is a blatantly stupid question with an obvious answer.

Go to Jim Carters website, www.oldchevytrucks.com for more info. Brian | | |
