I'm looking to replace the seat brackets with the original sliding type for my 56. Are they specific to 55 - 59 trucks or are there other truck seat brackets that will work? Looking to hit a junk yard to seat what they might have. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | the brackets/sliders on the 55-59 are part of the seat, size and angle just so to suit the seat and floor - you may find something that could be adapted, but it'd be a measure and hunt deal, best to try and find the correct ones if he didn't butcher the bottom of the seat
