Just check me on this guys. The plan right now is to find a dana 44 front axle from a later model chevy truck and bolt it to mine. Will this work? I sure hope so, because this is basically my last shot at being able to convert over to discs without having to spend a fortune building a new front end, which isn't worth it at all. Any help with this would be great.

Same donor truck also gave me the power booster, and saginaw power steering box so this made a huge difference for a low investment ($400 parts truck.)  | | |
