Is there a way of changing the gasket that the vent window seals against without dismantling the door and vent assembly? I don't see how you would get around the bottom pivot pin. It's a 51 3 window. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 345 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 345 | I don't think you'll be able to do that without slitting the gasket around the lower pivot-which I wouldn't recommend. I can tell you that removing the vent window was not a big deal. However I have not yet reinstalled it. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 483 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 483 | Can be chalanging but worth it.Take vent window out.Do it properly. The friction bolt will pull gasket apart if you slit the gasket,Good luck,It's no big deal.Don't forget the bolt at the bottom of the window chanel. | | |
