Could someone tell me where to find the Bore X Stroke dimensions for the 228, 248, 270, & 302 GMC inline six engines? I'm excluding the 236 & 256 engines? Thanks, dyna

Hi Sammy,, Bore first , then Stroke..

228,,,,, 3 9/16,,,,, 3 13/16

248,,,,, 3 23/32,,,,, 3 13/16

270,,,,, 3 25/32,,,,, 4

I believe the 302 to be the same stroke as a 270 but a bigger bore. I think it is 4 and 4, someone else will have to chime in with the 302 info. Those specs are not in my book..

What are you building ?

Correct, the 302 is 4x4.
