Hi Gang
I found a nice old '26 Chevy and I'm bringing it home, a picture of this almost as new vehicle is on the page - http://www.stovebolt.com/features/itran/itran2005/photos.htm - as “my grandpa's truck behind the combine”. It needs a little work as it has been sitting there since the early sixties. Some parts are missing and I'm trying to get an idea of what all I have to do or buy to get this girl back on the road. I can redo the woodwork or get help from a professional (any hints? I have seen - http://www.chevywood.com/ -, but there must be others around) But simple things like, did this thing have a windshield wiper? Was the Dash in the same color as the whole truck, what did the steering wheel look like, the mirror, the bench or seat etc. I have some missing steel parts too wink She needs new headlights, rear lights and a complete new ignition system (of a '28 4 cyl. engine) I have nice pictures of what the engine is supposed to look like, but no interior pictures.
All hints are welcome and if you have questions, comments, you have my email.

Thanks for reading

I helped my brother in-law retrieve a '27 also just a couple months ago. His was mostly complete. Last time I asked him, he was still taking inventory on what he had, and deciding on whether to keep it mostly original, or to possibly make a rod.
They both look like fun projects. It would be neat just to hear the motor run. Good luck on your new project.

Thanks Guys,
I talked to Dean ("Lurch") and decided to make this truck run again. I'll drop Gary an email and see where it goes from there. I found an other source, Reynolds Alberta Museum(Thanks Dean) and they have some documentation I could use.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Hi Guts,
Thanks for the help I got one by email from "Dean Lurch" now trying to figure out what is what.
Some detailed pictures of the frontscreen construction would be nice.
