For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 122 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 122 | Does anyone have a picture of an original switch/knob in the dash for the standard heater in a 1959 TF truck?
My truck didn't come with a heater as it is a California truck, but I decided to put one in. I haven't been able to confirm what knob would be right. Does it look like all of the rest, or is it different?

The heater I have for the truck is a recirculating unit (RPO 987759). It is not the deluxe heater. After looking at your '57 reference book, I pulled my '59 reference book down off the shelf and it also shows a dash knob that looks like the other knobs. Thanks for sending that link. I didn't even think about looking for the switch in the accessories reference manual. Now I know what I need. Thanks again!
Bruce,
If I can't locate one locally, I will be in touch. I have knobs, now I just need to find a switch that will work. I will let you know how it turns out. I had this problem with a wiper switch from Chevy Duty and had to return it.
