The truck is a 3-spd. column--not floor shift. Have a major wrinkle (kinda' buckled) where the firewall meets the floor to the right of the accelerator pedal below the foot starter. The rest of the floor looks great. Anybody else have that problem? Use a blowdryer for "safe" use, or a torch for "fast and furious" use.

I had even thought about cutting the mat along that curved line and reattaching it with tube repair adhesive but.....might be a worse mess than the wrinkle. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 285 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 285 | Interesting post--I just laid a rubber mat in my truck, from Chevy Duty, and it fit perfect. Not a wrinkle at all. Is this the mat that has cutouts for the brake/clutch etc? If you got it from CD and it's not right, CALL THEM. They have been excellent assisting me with various problems that have come up during my restoration. Lots o luck  | | |
