on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 11 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 11 | I came across a 1954 chevy truck with a clock that came out of the dash between the speedometer and the other (fuel, oil pressure, temp and voltage) guage. I have never seen one of these clocks before. Were they stock? Only for deluxe trucks? How much does and original one get on the market? I have no need for it because I have a '50 and the dashes are a little different. It sure is a cool looking clock. Thanks for any information.

Of course selling on Ebay is a hassle so send it to me and save yourself the trouble. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 1,299 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 1,299 | In a true democracy, there would be a coin toss... The clock housing is a relatively rare item. It was a Chevrolet accessory available for any model 1954/55-1st Chevrolet truck. It held a hand-wind clock (with light bulb) that was also used on 1953/54 Chevrolet cars.
You could sell it first-come, first-served; or, sell it by coin toss; or, sell it by lottery; or, just give it way; or, offer to trade it for somerthing for your truck; or, get the best price by selling it on eBay. Or, you could save it - just in case you ever get a 1954 truck.

They're sort of out of character...they look like a car clock in a truck. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,897 | I had one in my 54 but some @$$ took it!
