Whenever that Bolt-A-Rama comes around, I've got about 50 acres of primitive camping area (AKA "cow pasture") not too far from Stovebolt Headquarters. The place hasn't seen a cow in over 20 years, so no need to watch where you step!

Is Bolt-A-Rama a real thing that might happen one day or is it just a joke?
That would actually be really cool.

A Bolt-o-Rama, Boltapalooza, Wrenchfest South, or ... dare I say it ... Homecoming (it may yet ride again!) is a real thing and could be in the offing for sometime in '27. I guess we'd just have to deconflict with Townsend and Cruising The Coast and anything else I may not yet be aware of.
Stay tuned!

Suggestion; Already picked out an Hotel in Scottsboro for “Wrench Fest South” in early April. The name Homecoming should stay with the ODSS. Maybe Jerry can do a demo on some topic or how to read micrometers?
Just my thoughts. Don

Don, No, actually, the name "Homecoming" refers to Stovebolters returning to the home of Stovebolt.com which is now high atop Cumberland Mountain in Skyline, AL (Jacob's Mountain, if you want to get geographically accurate about this particular high spot on the Cumberland Plateau.) Which is why, when Stovebolt HQ moved to the banks of the Potomac River in 2019 to a campus that could not support such an event, we changed the name to "Wrenchfest" -- a name that *does* belong to the ODSS. That that Stovebolt.com HQ has relocated to a sprawling campus that can easily support a gathering worthy of the name, we shall resurrect "Homecoming" and slap it on the event proudly. Of course, Bolt-O-Rama works, too.
As for seminars and workshops, having everyone run their trucks through the OR for a Jerry-supervised "Companion Cylinder" valve adjustment tops my list. We might have a 235 or 261 (or both) here for whatever use we may elect to make of them. We could even drag your dead butt over to the bench grinder to do one of your famous seminars on rehabb'ing drill bits. Who knows, maybe even Lugnutz could magically appear to do something transmission related -- that one is always a crowd pleaser. And if we haven't retrieved Jerry's 3-ton GMC by then, we could always throw in a fieldtrip to go get that truck.
But just to be clear -- Homecoming/Bolt-O-Rama is about wrenching. Its not a foodie event attendees should come with something they need help with or something for the class.
As for hotels ... there is a very nice AirBNB very close to HQ that would support 5 or 6 folks. Its usually rented by hunters during hunting season. Our daughter stayed there when she visited in February -- its nice.

I stand corrected, it was just a suggestion and it sounds like you have your mind made up already. Thanks for the AirBnB suggestion, I may have to check into that when the date is set.
