Hi,my name is Max Stewart and I am new to this forum. I have a 1955 1st Series P/U with a 235 Six and T-5 transmission. I was In Townsend for the AD show and met a lot of the Southern Bolters, great group of guys.

I’m sorry, I see where I messed up on my very first post on this forum. Part of my info did not appear. I was talking to one of the Stovebolters is Townsend and he was telling me about a gentleman who rebuilds the T-5’s. I have some problems with mine and would to talk to someone about it and possibly by a rebuilt one. Hopefully, someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks to all for your help. Max Stewart

Max - Welcome to Stovebolt! Very glad you met up with those Southern Bolters. They're a great bunch, like the rest of us throughout the various regions. wink

This is the place to introduce yourself and your truck in general, with picture widely encouraged smile Your question relating to T-5 transmission problems your experiencing is better posted by itself specifically in our Driveline forum.

On your quest to possibly buy a rebuilt one, that is another posts by itself that needs to go in our Truck Parts Wanted forum.

I'd like to suggest that you take the time, before posting further, to read the helpful guidance in our Welcome - and now where do you go?? post as it will help you better understand the ins and out of the forums and where to post your topics/questions.

Once again - Welcome! thumbs_up

PS - Due to concerns about members security and protection against scammers, we highly recommend that you remove your direct contact info from your post. You are welcome to put that and direct email contact info in your member profile, where only Stovebolt members can see it and use it to contact you. It helps filter out potential bad actors because what's in these posts can be seen by anyone! You can remove it by simply editing your existing ppost. wink
