Like Peggy said, a few years back, the GM Heritage Center pages were undergoing restructuring, and the Vehicle Information Kits (a great resource for our trucks and other GM vehicles) were not accessible. I contacted the Heritage Center's Historical Researcher & Project Coordinator Kathleen Adelson and had a great conversation with her about restoring the Information Kits. She was very helpful in explaining the situation and getting them back online. Just recently, when we became aware that Rob English's www.oldgmctrucks.com was going to be shutdown, I contacted Kathleen again asking about adding GMC truck information from both Rob's site and whatever they might have in the form of Vehicle Information Kits to their website. She responded immediately and tasked one of her staff to look into that. The GM Heritage Center is lucky to have such a professional and knowledgeable staff.

I for one appreciate their efforts and the valuable information they're preserving.

We had visited ATHS HQ at our Reunion years in Kansas City. I recall that they were also wanting to digitize a bunch of their info. It was a very ambitious undertaking. Most of their data was with big rig trucks, big trailers and the ads and brochures that went along with them. We cringed with them when realizing all that scanning. And this was when scanning wasn't as easy. Even PDFs were not common like they are now. It seemed like a good bit of Rob's pages were scanned docs.

Maybe someone here who is an ATHS member may have some update on that project.
