I took The Little Blue Truck to a local retirement home on Tuesday. Several of the residents came out to see the vehicles on display. I received several positive comments and had many take photos. It's fun to hear the memories of the older generation and the vehicles they used.

Wayne, yes it is pretty neat listening to their stories. We did the same thing last year during Cruisin the Coast. We’ll probably do it this year too. I have marked my calendar for it.
It's like that anytime I take Thor into town. The Older Guys will share their stories, and the little Kids love to climb in and drive...

The guy that organizes some of the cruise in’s around here, does one at a local retirement home. One guy shows up with a Model T touring car & gives willing residents demo rides around the block. The organizer is very involved in the Helping seniors organization here in Brevard County. I try to support them when I can. Never know when I might need help myself.

I pulled Old Blue into a gas station, a couple days ago, and this lady came walking from the other side of the station and asked if she could take a picture. She told me how her Dad had one like it on their farm. She said she remembered riding to town with with just her and her Dad. I told her “yes, take all the pictures you like, and sit up inside it if you like.” She was like a little girl. She giggled as she climbed up inside. 🤭😁
Good story Joe, had it happen many times as well. There was one time though, the Green Truck and I were at the local old school Drive-In, the Daisy Queen and when walking back to the truck with burger and drink in hand a guy was steadily walking around snapping pics. When he realized I was about to get into the truck, he apologized for taking pics without permission. Me, No problem, take all you want, I normally get one dollar per shot. He got big eyed while I laughed and made sure he knew I was kidding. I mean, if you can't have fun with strangers, what good are they.
