Interesting. If I lived nearby, that would be worth a visit.

Where did this flyer come from, is it legit? I'm tempted to call for an appointment.
Edit: I found additional info.
I felt it was legit. Now I see it in a different listing. Andy go make an appointment!

I wonder if these are the same folks that used to sell stuff out of a big white barn set behind an old two story white farmhouse on US Hwy 151 on the SW edge of Dubuque? The area is now pretty built up, but years ago it was just about the first thing you saw heading into Dubuque going North on 151.
I've driven by the place to and from Wisconsin to visit family for years, but never stopped in as it never seemed like they were open or still in business.
I believe there is still a 1941-46 Chevy Big Bolt "Boom Truck" still parked on the property that is visible when you drive by the location. It was there earlier this year on my last round trip to/from WI.

Andy - Please report back on what you know if you do call them. This could be definitely worth a road trip!

I called the number and spoke to retiring owner Bob. He's currently going through his inventory and trying to organize it to make the stock easier to view. The sale is legit and by appointment only as stated in the flyer.
I'm hoping to make an appointment for next week sometime......
Thanks for the update Andy! Looking forward to hearing and possibly seeing (pictures perhaps?) more.

Thanks Andy. I've got a reminder alarm set on my phone - hahaha!
I talked with Steve (KCMongo) when we had lunch yesterday and we looked up the business name through Google maps. Turns out it is in fact the very same location I have driven past for decades, never stopping as it never looked like it was actually "in business/open". Screenshots below for anyone interested.
Steve's response was, "How did we not ever know about this place?".
Very much sounds like it could be worth our while to get an appointment and make a road trip.

If they will let you take pictures that would be great!

BTW, if you're looking for something specific, let me know by this coming Tuesday evening. I'll be glad to check on availability/condition and report back to you. Send me a PM with your phone number to speed up our discussion. You can complete your purchase with Accessoryland, as needed and arrange for pick up. IDK if shipping is available.
I'm sure the MBA Pony Express could once again be activated should their services be required!
Andy with this being so unknown, all I can think is - anything NOS that would maybe fit my '51 3100??? - hahaha
May be hard to determine if they haven't gotten everything ID'd, but with that in mind, feel free to call me for checking out part number/application info over the phone. I'll gladly assist with any part identification that I can.
PM sent on my contact number.

FYI: The link in the initial post is no longer working for me. Just a glitch or has he already sold the whole lot to Jim Carter or another. John

Guys - After seeing the report about the bad original link, I did some web surfing and found the same ad "flyer" posted in the Pantowners FB Group posting, which looks to be a Minnesota "St. CLoud" based Antique Antique Auto Club group.
I'd venture to say nothing has changed and Andy's appointment is likely still good, but it may not hurt to call and confirm.

I arrived at Accessoryland this morning at 9:45 AM. Bob quickly greeted me and the next two plus hours were incredible, to say the least! He's been in business for over fifty years and while he's in the process of closing, he's undertaking the enormous task of organizing and re-organizing his entire inventory. I'd say he's picked hundreds of ADs to the bone. There are many, many, many high quality take-off parts, a significant amount of NOS parts, and loads of reproduction parts available. Some Ford NOS may be availble too. He also has a vast collection of vintage spotlights, foglights, and bracket kits. In reality, there is so many parts I can't even begin to list everything. The only thing missing is a frame, but the rest of the truck parts are there..... Bob's a mail order business man and will definitely ship parts to you. He wants to put these parts in the right hands so people can enjoy their trucks and complete their projects(if that's really possible). The inventory will diminish over time and an offer for the entire inventory would be carefully considered by Bob and his wife Suz.
We also spent some time looking at a couple of his prize ADs: a 1949 pickup and a 1952 Suburban. The Suburban is sitting on a 1990s version GMC Sonoma S-15 and is fully equipped. The '49 pickup is amazing. I believe it was restored in late 1970s. Just look a these pictures. Pay special attention to the detail on the hardwood oak, tongue and groove custom built bed. It's absolutely gorgeous!
If you're in the area or within a hundred miles, Accessoryland is worth a visit. I believe there is ample time to acquire what you need, unless a buyer cuts a deal for the entire lot. I've attached his business card for future reference. If you need something, give Bob at Accessoryland a call. He would love to help you out!
Let me know if you have any questions. It was quite a morning!!!
Andy - Thanks for the update report and the pictures of that incredible gorgeous '49! The custom built wood bed is literally a work of art IMHO! WOW
Sure sounds like folks, myself included, need to see about getting an appointment to take advantage of what Bob is offering sometime in the near future.
What an excellent excuse for a road trip!
PS - To any other 'Bolter that ends up paying Bob at Accessoryland a visit, please add your own report or update to let folks hear about your experience.
Thanks again Andy for sharing your info.

I spoke with "Bob" from Accessoryland just a few minutes ago. What a nice fellow! Turns out he registered on Stovebolt as "Accessoryland" way back in 2005, but never did post anywhere permanent. I invited him to come back and introduce himself and his trucks in the Welcome Centre, so we can get him fully established as a 'Bolter.
He said he'd get that done, so be on the watch for him and please welcome him. The sooner we can get him to full 'Bolter status, the sooner folks can reach out to him directly via PM as he has and wants to offer to the community, oodles of Stovebolt parts and accessories which we all know are becoming harder and harder to find. He can help the community while we can help him!
He did mention that he is currently reorganizing all his stocks, as for years it's just been a mail order business and there wasn't too much concern about people actually coming to look and purchase things. With that in mind, he's holding the appointments to minimum to allow for the reorganizing, but expects to have things sorted/stored to where it will be easier to locate and see offerings in the near future.
