Time to install new frost plugs, as well as the camshaft bearing plug, I’m guessing the frost will be a standard size. What about the camshaft bearing plug? Is this part specific to this engine series?
Same 2326195 part number from 1939 228" engine to 1960 302".
'57 GMC 102, Original 347 V8, HydraMatic, 3.08 rear gear, added A/C, disk front brakes, HEI, AFB carb, '98 Honda Black Currant paint. T-boned and totaled 10/12 '52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.
My part numbers came from an earlier GMC Parts Books resource than Bill's part number, but as far as I know they are the same plugs. After seeing Bill's provided GM#, I found it listed in the 1963 GMC Master Parts Book. This reference doesn't provide dimensions, but the same GM# is listed for Chevy applications and one description listed the cam bearing plug dimensions as "rear brg. cup (1-63/64")". For whatever reason, my previous search didn't turn up Bill's part number.
Did you need info on the block side "frost plugs" too?

The side of block core plugs (5) are originally GM# 663032 - Plug, cylinder block 1-1/4" OD (cup style).
You can get Dorman 555-023 which is a 1-1/4" OD cup style "steel" core plug, or Dorman 565-023, which is a 1-1/4" OD cup style "brass" core plug.
