I am looking for sources to rebuild original equipment. Heater assembly complete, and a Fuel pump vacuum pump. 1950 Chevy 3100 for the heater and the engine is a 1954 235.

Thanks
Red

Welcome back Red!

You'll get better response if you split your questions up in the appropriate forums. Suggest you ask the "Heater" question in the Interiors forum, unless you are looking for acquiring an entire "Heater" which you can post an ad in our Swap Meet Truck Parts Wanted forum. * wink

There are a number of vendors that offer rebuild kits for the combination "Fuel pump vacuum pump". The one that comes to mind first (recommended by many Bolters) is
Then and Now Automotive.

* Edited since the topic has been changed to just the fuel/vacuum pump restoration.

I just rebuilt a fuel/vacuum pump with a kit from Then and Now. Give them a call with any ID numbers on your pump so you get the right rebuild kit. There are 2 styles of the particular pump I have and it makes a difference which kit is needed. The job is a little more fiddly than rebuilding just a fuel pump, but not terribly difficult. More check valves and reattaching the stems to the lever took me a couple tries.

Right. That's why I suggest always calling them. Their website is next to useless. They're very helpful and friendly on the phone.

I opted to send my pump to them for rebuild rather than do it myself because the difference in price between a kit and them doing the work was only $50. 10,000 miles later and the fuel pump is working perfectly.
