I had to remove the e-brake assembly on my 54 3100 when I replace the floor. The parts were in pretty bad shape and now that I am finally ready to reinstall I have mis-placed them. Is there an after market or e-brake assembly from a different car anyone is using to replace the foot pedal assembly for the e-brake.

Have you lost every single part from the rear drums to the brake pedal and release lever?

I don't think there is any bolt-in parking brake setup being made for AD trucks. I'd keep looking for the misplaced parts. You know they weren't thrown away so they'll turn up.

Misplaced. Just the pedal and bracket ubder the floor.

I took my truck apart 23+ years ago and (knock on wood) I was able to locate all my parts. A few of them took days of searching and re-searching and frustration of searching, but I was finally able to find them. Look everywhere, in boxes, on top shelves, behind things,... don't give up!

I used a parking brake assembly from a '70s pick up. I don't think that it provides as much tension as the original setup, but it stays put after you step on the pedal.

When I swapped the torque tube rear end for a 12 bolt rear out of a 1969 Chevy half-ton truck I just used the 1969 backing plates and emergency brake setup and modified the cable connections a wee bit. That's really all it took. It worked perfectly and as I recall the 1969 backing plates might have fit on the torque tube rear. I can't guarantee this because I didn't use them but the rest of the emergency brake stuff was fine. Good luck!

Actually come to think of it, there is an outside chance I saved some of the emergency brake stuff from the 52 rear end. I'll have to get in the attic to see if it is up there, though. Please let me know if you want me to search.

Dave - Chev's of the 40's carries a reproduction parking brake pedal support bracket (pictured in the 1st pic below).

If you look at the 2nd pic, which other pieces are you missing???

I may have the parts you are missing, if you can identify the parts from Gdads51's diagram.

From what I remember, my under the floor bracket was a little different. From the diagram I need the 4.630 Pad, 4.625 Peddle and Shaft, 4.603 Bar and 4.648 Bracket.
