Photo on left is from drivers side ‘51 door. Note the window roller guide channel. All the online photos and those photos posted in groups I've searched don't match the window I removed. Can anyone describe what I'm seeing here on my drivers side window? I've got new glass on order to go into my resto project, but this window is confusing. Previous owner must have used something other than a 3100 glass for this door.

Tim - Here's a screenshot from the 1957 Chevy Master Parts Book of the 1951-53 truck door (actually includes '54 and '55.1 1st Series AD trucks) that shows the window and channel as a solid un-notched piece.
Not sure what you've got their, but you can replace it with reproduction pieces from many of our usual vendors. A cautionary note - if that was changed it could be your regulator may have been changed too??? Suggest your do further investigation and perhaps provide some pictures of your door and regulator so we can offer more info.

Tim, that definitely looks different than the original window regulator channels that were on my truck. But if it works, it could be reused. Like Dan said, maybe the regulator was changed. I also think that the regulator roller doesn't use the whole length of the channel, so the ones you have might be side specific. Once you have enough posts, send me a PM and I can get you fixed up with an original channel.
