I believe this has been mentioned before but I was unable to find it.. What is you Bolters prefferd grease and grease gun that doesn't leak to service your Stovebolts?

In my experience, they ALL leak. But the pistol grip style is the easiest to use. My son-in-law insisted on one of these to grease his skid steer.

I have two pistol style grease guns that used to belong to my dad. One is the standard size tube and the other is the small size tube.
They're both from the 1960s or 70s I'd imagine. I think one might even be a JC Penny Penncraft. Neither one leaks.
I've installed a flexible hose like the the DeWalt pictured above has and it works great.
I'd try to find an old one for sale on ebay.

I've had the same Made In USA blue Lincoln 11oz cartridge loaded grease gun since sometime in the early '90s. It doesn't leak after most of a decade in daily mechanic use, now I use it in the bicycle shop and for my own and friends' vehicle maintenance.
When my pistol grip style gun broke, I switched to the DeWalt like Kevin and Mark. Its great! After using grease guns a lot in the shop and out on job sites, I don't believe any you who claim your grease gun doesn't leak or make a mess. The DeWalt goes through a tube faster, though ...
