Has anyone seen or made any 3100 stake bed pocket covers? I know a lot of new pickups have plastic ones that snap in.
I would like to see something that would snap in my bed stake holes and that I could paint body color. I need to replace my bed wood in the spring and would like to smooth that out. I think I would like that better than the wood side rails.
I'm wondering if anyone else has done this? Thanks, JD
I think that stake pocket covers for the sloped bed sides would be difficult to find, but I may be wrong. If you really want to smooth the bed sides and don't ever need the pockets, using a sheet metal piece welded in place would be the way to go. But that means repainting.
