Well ... kinda sortta...

Head to your nearest magazine retailer (or go online) to grab an issue of the Nat'l Geo that hits the streets this week as our very own ODSS brother (whom many of you recall from Homecomings past, as well as his great photography of your trucks), Erik Hildebrandt, owns the cover with another piece of his outstanding aerial photography. No doubt more of his work is within, as well.

You may not appreciate just how huge a deal it is in the print/photography profession to be selected for the cover of Nat'l Geo so I'll tell you -- its a big, giant freaking deal. One of the highest honors a professional photog can receive.

I just ordered two off Amazon wink

Bravo Zulu, Erik!!

I remembr him John -

Didn't he and Doug fly over the farm and we had all the trucks flanking the flagpole behind the tree farm ? I remember taking a ladder out among the trees and taking a few shots ase well.

Or am I nuts ?

No, that happened exactly as you recall. Doesn't mean you aren't looney tunes, though.

I still have that picture hanging in the shop and look at it every day. Definitely one of the coolest things to have been a part of since becoming a Bolter!
Congrats Erik!
