Hi everyone I have been away from the forum for a few years and just found it again. Had sold all of my projects and moved to Wyoming a few years ago. Was doing some dirt work on a ranch out here and ran across a 86 Suburban that had been sitting for 13 years. Hooked the jumper cables up to it and poured some gas in the carburetor and she started right up so I went to town and got a battery and drove it home. Didn't matter what gear you put it in she only went forward so I had to replace the transmission. Shows 28000 miles and the ranch it came from says the miles are right. All the interior looks like it probably is. Put a little over 3000 miles on it since I replaced the transmission. One thing I thought was neat about it is it was bought new by Walt Disney when they owned the ranch I got it from.
Yes, nice find alright. 😀 Rarer these days and unheard of with that mileage !
