How do you get the dome light wire up or down the door post?,I work at it for about 1 hr and could not get it more than 2 ft down the post. Took a mirror and light looked down the post, looks like there is a plate blocking it off. Had to remove the old wire because of mice eating the insulation. I forgot to look to see how it was run before I removed it, my bad. HELP 53 3100

Do you still have the roof cardboard in place?
If not, snake a solid-copper electrical wiring down from the top; then, attach the light wire and pull it up.

Similar to Shaker's cable but smaller. Send it downhill and pull wire back up. I don't know your type truck so that's a general idea.

Used a remote view device and yes there is a block off plate installed, maybe the PO reworked the pillar because of a wreak. Anyway, the dome wire is in and now back the the rest of the wiring. Its frustrating but it eventually worked after about 10 tries.
