An internet friend is looking for replacements for the intake and exhaust manifolds on his '59 GMC 9400. It has an inline 6, that I'm assuming is a Chevy. Maybe a 261 given the size of the truck. Casting numbers are 3835587 for the exhaust and 3835590 intake. I have no Canadian parts info, so if one of you "parts" guys has info about these manifolds, please let me know.

Meanwhile, I will point him toward this site.

'57 GMC 102, Original 347 V8, HydraMatic, 3.08 rear gear, added A/C, disk front brakes, HEI, AFB carb, '98 Honda Black Currant paint. T-boned and totaled 10/12
'52 GMC 152 Stake Bed, Original 228, SM420, added A/C, HEI, disk front brakes, '67 Chev 3.55 rear gear. Gets used as a real truck.

I can take a look on my truck and the spare I got tomorrow.Depending on we’re your friend lives there may be some hiding in the western Provence's ,Bills truck parts in Courtice Ontario may have some used parts but he gets them from the west . The US manifolds should be mostly the same but not certain they have the same cast numbers .I know my 54 intake manifold had the mount for the horn but as far as I know the horns on the Canadian models were on the firewall or like mine on the rad cradle behind the grill.

The friend responded that the engine is a 261. The truck has fairly recent Saskatchewan license plates on it.

Bill - The following is what a quick search showed:

Exhaust manifold - casting # 3835587 = GM Part# 3694164 (see 1st pic for application info)

Intake Manifold - casting # 3835590 = GM Part# 3694163 (see 2nd pic for application info)

This is US info from GM Partswiki. I'm away from home and can't check my Canadian parts book data, but think they will be the same as US for the most part.
