Hi everyone, just found this thread. Waco Texas here, owner of a 59 Apache Fleetside and caretaker of my dad's 55 Cameo. Fleetside is in the hospital after a bad rear end at a red light just three weeks after rebuilding the engine in August, but it's moving along in repairs. Hope to get in on some meetups with one or hopefully both trucks this year.

I'll add my two cents here. I'm in a small town called Ranger, TX. I'm about 90 miles west of Ft. Worth and 60 miles east of Abilene just off I-20.

Hi everyone, just wanted to give an update on the "Ghostbusters" Cameo with the bad transmission and give a big shout out to Bill Hanlon for hooking me up with a good rebuilt Muncie 3 speed to fix it! This is my dad's Cameo that he got from his grandfather when he was 15. He told me on a recent drive that he has never known this truck to shift so smoothly and quietly (and for the record, it did grind at every gear shift and would scream at you in lower gears). Getting it ready for C10s on the Brazos in Waco TX in a few weeks if anyone in the area wants to come check it out!

Roy, I passed by Ranger a couple of months ago on I-20 on my way out to Littlefield to pick up a 1953 Ford F-100. I'm down near Hico, 30 miles south of Stevenville.
