Couple questions to anyone who has used above paper?? How long on a newly painted tailgate should I wait? Paint is tractor paint...enamel with hardener. Orginal
paint was done in 2006. I purchased a Chevrolet script decal from a vendor but it looks to fake or cheap. I have the self adhesive graphic paper I want to put down
then place decal on that and cut out with x-acto knife, paint, remove stencil and clearcoat. Any thoughts or advice welcomed, TIA

My tailgate is in rough shape so I did the best to pound it straight ,the top was covered in a new piece of sheetmetal and the holes were plugged as there were several drilled .The gate was bare metal and I plan on using the truck this spring so I used spray paint but I used just masking tape to tape off the different colours about a week apart . The paint was tremclad and takes a while to dry I took the tape off as soon as it dried and it worked out okay .this was just a create work job to get the tailgate covered and I was curious as to what it would look like with the letters painted but I think when I find a better tailgate I will just paint the letters and not the boarder.
