Just finished a full strip-down. Replaced doors, rebuilt everything, replaced the motor with a 440 big block, 31 spline Strange diff in ford 9" axle.
Front axle and suspension is Mustang II. The polished emblems are previous to me restoring them, now have lovely colour. The Tacho's are for drag racing, the car was previously built for the drag strip. I've converted back to street. Aftermarket doors fit well, but my cab had been mutilated previously in the sill area and needed surgery.
Was built for pro street but have dumped the wide rear wheels and tubs. So has a nice uninterrupted flat bed.
Editor's note. Sam originally posted (back in February 2022) his Apache in the Gallery Forum, which is very limited by the UBB software. So, we moved it here to the DITY area so more folks can see and participate in his project.

Your truck looks great. We’ve all seen trucks go from street to drag racing, but it seems not many go back to street. How much did you have to change to make it street friendly again?
Sam, that's a Really Great truck. Congratulations are definitely in order. We drove from London to Edinburgh a few months ago, not sure I'd have been able to make that drive (on the B roads) in such a nice full size truck, but on a positive note, passing would have been Easy!
For those interested, ssaammm has lots more photos of his truck in Paint & Body. LINK
Don't know if it was on the first build or the rebuild he mentions here, but still some nice work.

Ok here we go. All the first post pics are from the first build, not done by me!
Stevie Wonder did all the welding; filler work by Jose Feliciano!!! I did not do my due diligence, I would have wasted all my money leaving it as it was, and it was dangerous. So I made the decision to strip it down completely box out and strengthen the chassis and build it up.
I'll add some pics of the bad work, then stages of the rebuild.

Took 3 years the second time John, still work to do, as it was originally built to Drag, its got a high stall torque converter, reverse shift and it wont move till at 4000 revs, Ive already replaced and widened the axle, just need to swap out the 727 box and shifter

Very nicely done and a great add to your fleet! The attention to detail is outstanding. Great job!
