Being a gearhead, my truck toolbox is bulging with all sorts of stuff....especially enjoy my time at the local J-yard. Have discovered a "one size fits all" tool that really comes in handy!!

If you don't own a battery powered Sawzall you haven't really lived!!! Now don't get me wrong...I still carry my own compliment of tools, but when you go "yard-diving" it can really be a lifesaver! Of course, you have to use a little common sense (or they won't let me roam around unleashed) but rusty bolts and sheetmetal are now, no obstacle.

My little Ryobi with a couple batteries and spare blades can keep me entertained for hours. Not much cash outlay and it sure speeds things up. Just thought some of you might consider this as your next tool if you don't already carry one!!!

I love going to the junkyard, and I am never without my battery sawzall either. One of my favorite tools. Ive cut out complete dash boards and various panel sections, rusted up nuts and bolts. I pulled a pair of doors off a '51 GMC recently. I pulled the doors with the hinges still attached. Wouldn't you know it the last bolt wouldn't come out and I stripped the head.
The lower cowl on this truck was wasted anyway, so I just sliced the lower hinge out of there with the sawzall in about 15 seconds...
