I don't need the PDF because I have the actual paperback manual by Mims, that I bought new from Radio Shack back in the '80s!

I miss Radio Shack.

I bought one there also...maybe around 1985? I no longer hear from him, so I don't know what that might mean. Yes, Radio Shack was okay and I miss it also. We had a similar store down the street in our neighborhood but the owner retired and closed it around 2000.

1985 sounds right. Bought with money from mowing lawns, in my case :-)

Good old Radio Shack! I worked there for a couple years in college (While going to school for electronics.) . I collected all the RS little pages books when I was a kid right next to my Hot Rod little pages. Here's my Radio Shack sign that hangs in my shop. https://photos.app.goo.gl/fBrq3WwgNzfhzGVu9

32Fordpuchop came by the shop last week and we played with the PWM fan control we ordered on Amazon for about $11. It's Chineaseum so like Dev said on his page about these (Your mileage will vary). Here's a short clip of us playing with it. PWM Fan Controller for 12 Volt conversions in Old Trucks

I'm sure he'll let you know how well it works. (32Fordpuchop) he's planning on mounting it a small enclosure under the dash somewhere. The one Dev used he got from Mouser and is already in an enclosure but we went the cheap option. Here's a link to Dev's writeup and he has a template for an underdash bracket at the bottom of the page as well. http://devestechnet.com/Home/Native12VUpgrade#heatersystem

If anyone want's the file to 3D print their own "More truck looking" Knob let me know via PM and I'll shoot it over to you I printed it in Brown/Tan ABS.

Like a dork I say early in the video "PWM Modulator" which I realize is a bit redundant so ignore my mis-speak.

One of the last times I went to a Radio Shack I was looking for contact cleaner. The kind you used to spray into mechanical tuners (channel selectors) on tube type TVs. I asked the sales person for contact cleaner and he referred me to the Walgreen Drug Store across the street and said that was where he gets it for his contact lenses.

It took me a while to make this happen, the weather got way cold for a while. I took some pics of the parts involved. The v.p.m. (variable pulse modulating) switch, a 110v. work box and a bracket I made to hold the switch. Quite a bit of time to make and or modify everything, but it's all together and seems to work well. I can run the heater fan at a low enough speed it doesn't create much noise. And I think it will perform better as far as heat. I was going to add this to Mongos video he made of the bench test, but could not figure out how to make that happen.
