Have a 27 with a 15? Year old restoration

Paint wheels tires very nice

Hasn’t run in 6+ years per my friend the widow I’m trying to help out

Her husband was pretty particular how he did things

Has the original style fuel pump

Guessing it’ll have issues

Rolls over fine except that clutch pops up every revolution???

Questions

Is the fuel pump worth fixing to preserve value or go electric?

What is this truck worth

Needs electrical work lights etc don’t work

Going up for sale

What’s up with the clutch?

I think it’s a very well done restoration back in the day

Dark red

Black fenders

Stake bed

No idea if it’s a 1/2 3/4 or 1 ton

Thanks all

I'll grab some hopefully tonight.

Relocating it.

Any idea what the shift pattern is. Need to use the engine as a brake in case the brakes don't work.

Thanks.

Jack - Below is a screen grab from a sold on ebay Chevrolet Capitol Series A A Instructions, Operation, Care Manual Jan 1927 that shows the transmission shift pattern.

I saw several original used and reproduction manuals that can be had for relatively little money that would go a long way in helping you gain answers to many of your questions. Just do a web search and they'll be easy to find.

I'm not sure how much difference there is between 1927 and 1928 Chevy's (fellow early Bolt owners will hopefully chime in), but you can find a 1928 Chevrolet Motor Cars Instructions manual here to help in looking for answers to your questions. It covers Cars and Trucks and the transmission shift pattern diagram in this 1928 manual is the same as the one from the ebay screenshot.

Definitely post some pictures as they will help us help you. wink
