I have a spacer for my fan and the pattern fits the holes pictured without bolts in them.
My spacer has the smaller bolt pattern. But there are no threads there. Are there plugs?
Anyone familiar with these?

How about installing Heli-Coils in the open holes? You could also drill and tap the water pump hub for the smaller bolt pattern.

Most aftermarket water pumps are drilled for dual bolt patterns.

Stacked spacers. 4 row RAD shimmed out 1/3 inch. The flex fan has a flat fan profile.
Itll lay flat. The steel 18 inch fan I have now has a 1 1/4 inch profile that gets it closer to the RAD.
Drawing air REALLY well. This washer on top helped.

That seems too long to me.
The farther out you go, the harder to keep everything balanced, especially with stacked spacers.
Thats a lot of strain on your bolts. May be too extreme.
Hows the wobble? That looks to have a MUCH greater chance of things loosening up. Be careful.

thanks. yeah I`m watching it. No wobble. Drove both pretty good. The one I`d like to flip w/ the
larger spacer closer to the pully hub. The bolts are special order SS. The vast majority of stainless steel fasteners are produced with metals from the austenitic family. Their high levels of chromium and nickel provide tough corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand considerable physical strain without fracturing, albeit at a higher cost than the martensitic varieties. Ace hardware does not have this bolt.
The air draw is substantial. IDK if its the steel fan and its profile but they both pull air great. Less than an inch from the fan.
Hot weather is gone but I`m ready next year in line at the Culvers.
