Here is a never used reproduction front splash panel for 47-53 small trucks. It was painted but never installed and has been sitting in garage for many years . $100 + ship.

Interested. If a 54 has a different grill, would this still fit a 54 3100?

It may bolt on, but its not correct for a 54. It would also look a little wonky where the grille and filler panel fit together.

The 54 Chevy I think uses the same filler panel from 47-53
Judging from online photos of that area
But someone else should confirm on a truck side by side with the two

The 54 gmc definitely uses a new shape filler panel in 54 that is not reproduced

On the Chevy in 54 the new grill with marker lamps appears to stop flush with the lower grille bar to take advantage of the old filler panel

However on the gmc that new chrome grille area around the park lamp extends down behind the bumper so the filler panel definitely has a jog in it to accommodate
I have one 54 filler panel on my farm I was gonna use and then realized that detail
It would fit the Chevy but it had a big gap there

Edit: online parts places often miss label compatibility years
Non of them make that special 54 gmc filler but list it the same as 47-53 gmc incorrectly

Dan just posted a sale from two vendors for 54-55 filler panels at less than 50 dollars plus shipping here.
