I have been looking for a rear license plate holder that would mount anywhere on the rear gravel guard (bumper filler splash panel), so that I can position it where I want it on the surface of the splash panel. It must also support all 4 holes of a license plate. No built in lights.

I am currently taking a break from welding so I would rather buy than build.

Anyone have a pointer for me? So far, my web searches have not been fruitful.

Many Thanks!

Gib - I think that would work. The only consideration in my mind is where will you put it so it doesn't interfere with the opening of the tailgate??? Maybe if you wanted it to still reside somewhere under the tailgate, you could reverse the mount so it sits as flush as possible against the the rear bed sill. The tailgate might drop down over the mount and plate, eliminating any location restrictions. Or just drill holes in your rear sill where you want to mount the plate and bolt it directly on??? headscratch

I used existing holes on the rear bed sill to mount the plate. Mine just dangles on two bolts but the frame you pictured would work if the two "ledges" on it faced the rear.
