Anyone know what colors were used for these Korean War era steel parts were painted?
The base color was the Champagne interior color, but there was another color used in a striped fashion. What was that color?

There is an article on Jim Carter's site that stated that the entire speaker grill and glove box door was made of steel and everything was painted body color except the CHEVROLET letter at the top of the speaker grill.

I THINK that the accent color is the darker of these two (picture 1.) Although the second pic (don't remember where I got that from [on edit - it was from Tim Lederman's site) says that mid-'51 and later trucks didn't use the accent color (noted as Metal Gray, Duco No. 739 in pic no 2) and the entire grille was painted interior color, Sheen Gray Metallic, Duco No. 740.
Interior color info is pretty hard to come by. I painted mine just interior color with no accent striping.

Well that makes things much simpler to paint everything one color. Boring, but simpler.
I am going for as-built, so that's that. One color.
Thanks Kevin.

My 1952's interior supposedly had not been altered when I got it. The upper and lower trim pieces on the speaker grille were stainless and so was the glove box door. The painted color was all as you see below...or actually as close as I and the folks at English Color could come to matching it using pieces which had not been faded. I don't know if that's going to help you, but that's what was in mine.

'52 did not have stainless uppers and lowers on the speaker grill, nor stainless glove box door. Someone blinged yours up at some point. I can't blame them because stainless really looks nice on the dash.
'52 had bakelite windshield wiper knob and window crank knobs, steel bumpers and hubcaps. Chrome and stainless were needed for Korean War efforts.

My ‘52 also came with stainless trim on the dash. I can’t say if they were changed but maybe some had leftovers installed until they ran out.

Maybe so. Hard to unscramble the egg however the man I bought it from was the second owner and said he believed it hadn't been changed. But there again who knows for sure? The hubcaps were gone when I got it. I figured somebody had stolen them as the guy was living in an apartment here. Don't know if this will help, but...Both bumpers and the grill were painted and the headlight trim was stainless. The outside door knobs were chrome plated potmetal and the keys matched so I'm certain those were original. The wiper arms and wiper frames were stainless and the little escutcheons were either stainless or chrome plated cast potmetal. Outside mirror rod was painted. Window crank knobs were bakelite. Center of windshield post was stainless. Didn't have the stainless in the rubber windshield surround but I added it as I had one here. Inside door handles were chrome plated cast metal. The wiper knob was missing so I can't say. I assumed it was bakelite and had broken. The trim pieces around speedo and gauges were not painted...chrome plated I think. There were a couple of other things that were either plated or stainless. I'll try to remember them.
