2002 LM7 engine I’m using an American auto wire for the body and have a painless harness for the engine. Will the American auto wire 3B wire (which the instructions say the 3A end is the 12v for the distributor) tie into the painless 6.2.6 fuse block ignition for the injection system?

Here’s more of the scoop. 70 C10- old harness is cracked and frayed.
American auto wire 13 circuit universal for the body( lights, sides, column, etc). 510004
Painless LS standalone harness. 60217
I am using the stock ignition and headlight switch from the 70 C10.
1. The AAW calls for the 3A to go to the distributor. Where does it go on the LS setup?
2. I assume the oil sender, tach, temp stuff from the AAW are redundant as the LS harness has that covered. Correct?
3. Do I hook up 2B red on the AAW as per diagram direct to starter HOT?
4. Do I need 4A alternator ignition on the AAW? I assume again the LS harness has it covered.
5. Does Painless 6.2.6 pink splice in with pink AAW pink 3B wire to give both keyed power?
It seems some will be powered by the LS harness: oil, temp, VSS, tach, but some will need the AWW: dash lights, dimmer,
I will have some more coming, but this is a start.
I appreciate the help. Electrical can be frustrating as all hell, and when you leave it for a bit it’s hard to continue on…

1. Lay the AAW aside. Don't worry about it right now. 2. Don't worry about the ignition switch or gauges. 3. You will have several things on the Painless AND the AAW that don't apply, redundant, optional and will not be used. 4. After you are done with painless, get the motor started to be sure all is well. After painless install we will see what tne motor needs for just a test start. 5. Then do what is needed from the AAW...... gauges, lights, Light switch and accessories. 6. You ask about distributor wiring, I don't think you have one, do you?
So...did this motor run? Do you know if it runs for sure? What happened to it's harness? What trans are you using. I am not a Vortec, computer controlled guy, but since you are using a new harness and if you know the motor runs, that helps. You probably will have two fuse boxes to mount. I will help as you go along, one phase at a time, if I can.
In my opinion it is critical to get motor running. With that motor in a 70 truck, you could have all kinds of issues' Related to inputs: Evap sensors and etc. VSS Gas tank vapor sensor Canister vent Canister purge Programming OBD O2 sensors
I never think it is worth it to put that kind of V8 in. Lots of folks do however.
