Does anyone have any information on the lower baffle inside the grill? Pictures or Literature?

TeW - I’ve moved your thread to the General Truck Talk forum as it’s the better place for further help and conversation.

Folks should be along soon to try and offer help. wink

There is a formed thick rubber piece that fits in that cup at the bottom. It holds the vertical bars of the grille in place.

Thank you for the feedback. Although I was asking about the plate or (what the book calls the "lower baffle") behind the grill. I think its for air flow? I am missing how it attaches. The three bolt holes on the end. see picture.

The piece I outlined would be the baffle. It's analogous to the part on an AD truck.

I’m sure it was probably very similar to the Chevy. I happen to have that all apart on the doghouse of my 37 Chevy and here’s a picture. The lower part has a half a dozen stove bolt and square nuts, attaching it to the chin. It appears somebody just put in a convenient, rectangular piece of sheet metal to yours and put a hole in it for the crank.

Old man᠁Old truck᠁neither one goes very fast. All you need in life is TIME, PATIENCE and MONEY.
If you are missing one component, you'll need an abundance of the others two.
