Is there an effective way to replace or repair the busted springs?
I used a board once but I didn’t like that. But now I’m sunk down!

Search upholstery seat springs, Couch springs, coils springs, zig zag springs, etc.

You will find every size and shape coil spring and zig zag seat spring you can imagine.

I've seen packs of 10 or 20 for Like $30 or $50 . They'e on Amazon, ebay, etc.

Pull out some of yours and measure them. I think they're about 7" tall.

I need a few other parts, I don’t know what they are called?? Clamps a long spring. Should I just use something else entirely?

See if you can find a furniture upholstery shop in your town. These seats are basically couches and bear no resemblance to modern auto upholstery.

They'll be able to find what you need or supply a substitute. They may even do it for you. The furniture people don't charge anywhere near what the car people charge.

I did find an older shop in town . He had springs & gave me a back set in tact for a 48 Ford. That will help me a lot! The springs on my driver side were so busted & flat!
