Regarding the side windows on my 1946 Chevy 3/4 ton truck - they wind up and down OK, but when going down they stop at a point where there is about 4" of glass still showing and they won't go down any further. I wouldn't think this is normal, but I don't know for sure. Any thought on why this happens. Both sides stop at the same point.

Windows should roll down to the top of the bottom sill. My guess is the rollers on the carrier assembly are contacting some debris and/or the rollers on the assembly are worn out.
