How do I remove the glove box lock mechanism in my truck?

I pushed back the liner and felt around, but didn’t feel any screw?

Is there a trick to removing?

Thanks in advance for any help

North of 40 - Just a note that I've moved your post over to the Interiors forum as that the best on-topic place for your question. Answers and help should be coming your way soon. wink

If it's the pushbutton located above the glove box door, there's a small screw on the end of the lock. You'll probably need to remove the box completely to access it.
Once that screw is removed, you can work the cover off that sandwiches the dash between it and the bezel. Then you can pull the lock out from the front.

Here's a picture of instructions for disassembling and assembling the lock.

Thank you very much Kevin and Dan,

Very much appreciated

Yes, it is the push button lock, located above the glove box door.

Have a great weekend
