Please post here when you get home safe.
Vicki and I had a great time meeting back up with old friends and meeting new friends.
Alvin and Tuts did a great job getting everything planned out and go smoothly. This is really a great event.
So please post up when you made it home!

Vicki and I left Townsend about 8:30 ET and got home at 7:10 CT with no issues except for heavy fast moving traffic.

Dad and I arrived safe back in Michigan just after 6pm. Got the 54' all unloaded and started making plans for the next repairs....
Made it through the unbelievably terrible highway conditions of I-75 near Jellico, TN and of course the crazy gauntlet of traffic through Cincinnati and Dayton.
Great time as always and can't wait until next year!!! Will post some pictures later today.....

We pulled in the yard at 8:25 PM Sunday evening. I had to go in to work this morning and deal with some contractors... I'm a bit tired. Did I mention I was tired... grin

Linda and I made it back about 1pm Sunday with a slow leisurely drive. More work unloading and preparation for another trip to Illinois and Wisconsin in two weeks. I have been invited to the annual trust meeting of the heirs of "Bet-a-Million Gates" with the roll out of my new book while sharing many stories about the man who made his first fortune in barbed wire, went on to form multiple steel companies, including U. S. Steel and culminating in the start up of Texaco. Watch for the publication release on Amazon this weekend.
As always, good times meeting up with the Southern Bolters and kudos to Tuts for his recreating and expanding our group's following into being the most active group on the Stovebolt.com site.

I made a detour through far southeast Kentucky (Whitesburg) to pick up a rebuilt transmission for my big Ford F450 service truck- - - -made it home about 1:00 AM Sunday morning! Don't trust a GPS in the Tennessee/Kentucky/Virginia mountains- - - -the thing will route you through trails that Daniel Boone blazed 300 years ago!

We made it back about 2:00 Sunday evening. Seemed an easier drive coming than going Thursday during a work day.
Anybody but me already reserve their room for next year? We really enjoyed being a part of it. Thanks again to Tuts59 for putting all the pieces together for this event.

Please don't tell my wife how much this thing cost!

Donald, it was great finally getting to meet you. Hopefully next year we can both have a truck at the Show. I reserved my room when I checked out.

The new show site will be in the field just east of the Highlander Manor.
Vicki and I will probably stay at the Best Western again which is just east of the show grounds.
I don’t plan on bringing a truck next year though. Too much of a hassle to drag it thru Nashville!

Picked up Tim last night at the local airport during a heavy rain and thunderstorm. Not sure what we will be doing today but read about our adventures in the MBA threads.
