I got this from a friend and plan to put it on my 41 gmc coe but I have not been able to find a year for it. Dave

It's a 1937 hood ornament. It's missing the bottom portion.

You are the man. My first thought was it came from a truck that did not have a split hood, now I see it did come from a split hood truck but is missing the bottom piece. Dave
