I was at my local parts supplier here in Alberta IScotts Super Trucks), and they had just found out that Mar-K had closed its doors as of April 1. Their website is defunct as well. Does anyone have any information on the situation? Apparently they were the main (only) supplier for the metal parts I need for my one ton 9' bed (sills, angle strips, bed strips). Scotts was unaware of anyone else making the metal parts for a 9' bed.

I would suggest contacting LMC Truck , webpage lmctruck.com , their webpage illustration list all the parts and they are GM licensed repops .......looks like all the standard parts are shown as in stock..........but I would call first. Who know's, their supplier may have been Mar-k .

Since much of Mar-K biz was for bed stuff, it's a good idea to have it referenced here. But I'm going to lock this thread and direct most of the discussion HERE to the News & Announcements spot where the info started (and were Mark has been directed). There's already some things folks need to know posted there. That way most of the discussion can stay in one place as we learn more.

Good feedback here. thumbs_up
